The BharatBenz 5532T 6x4 is a heavy tractor head rated for a 55,000 kg GCW, pairing the top 236 kW, 1250 Nm tune of the 7.2-litre OM 926 BS VI OBD-2 diesel with a driven tandem rear axle for heavy and tip-trailer haulage. It uses the G131 9-speed synchromesh gearbox and returns a claimed 2.25-3.25 kmpl.

On a 3975 mm wheelbase it has parabolic front springs with twin shock absorbers, a parabolic bogie rear with bolsters for tip-trailer variants, the IRT390 tandem axle, dual-line drum brakes with ABS and a 455 or 430-litre fuel tank. The tiltable sleeper cabin seats D+2 and comes with cruise control, with AC optional.
