The Ashok Leyland Oyster Wide Stage Carrier Bus is a 2600 mm wide, fully built route bus seating 49 passengers plus driver in 3x2 high-back seats, for short and medium stage-carriage routes. It uses the H-series i-Gen6 CRS BS-VI four-cylinder diesel producing 147 hp and 450 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

On a 4900 mm wheelbase with a 14,000 kg GVW, it has shackle-ended leaf springs, air brakes with ABS, 9R20 tyres and a 185-litre fuel tank. The listed version has AC, along with an emergency exit, a first-aid kit, hat racks and tilting power steering.
