The Ashok Leyland Oyster Wide Staff Bus is a fully built, 2600 mm wide staff bus seating 49 passengers plus driver in a 3x2 high-back layout, giving more shoulder room than standard mid-size buses. It uses the H-series i-Gen6 CRS BS-VI four-cylinder diesel producing 147 hp and 450 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
On a 4900 mm wheelbase with a 14,000 kg GVW, it has shackle-ended leaf springs, air brakes with ABS, 9R20 tyres and a 185-litre fuel tank. It comes with AC, a luggage boot, hat racks, an emergency exit and tilting power steering.
